The PEB-2026 is built around a replaceable core, which is the consumable energy element of the device. Rather than replacing the whole unit, you fit a new core and the system returns to full service.
Each core delivers up to 8 hours of operation per wetting, with a total service life of up to 400 hours depending on conditions of use. Activation takes about 2 to 3 seconds after the core is wetted with water or another suitable liquid.
Keeping a spare core with the device means the PEB-2026 is always ready, which is the whole point of an emergency light. Keep it dry and sealed until you need it.
Use only a compatible replacement core. Do not attempt to dismantle or modify the internal energy element.

- Slide the clips upwards to open the device
- Disconnect the plug
- Remove the used core
- Fit the new core
- Reconnect the plug
- Close the device
- Wet the core to activate
