The motivation for creating our company was the difficulty that many societies around the world face due to the lack of basic resources such as energy and light. Natural disasters and emergencies create situations in which we are unable to act or even see, for example when there is a power cut for any reason.

This, combined with the pollution, the limited lifespan and the cost of batteries in such moments, led us to our technological achievement.

How does it work?

After 7 years of extensive research and dedication to our goal, we were able to discover a sustainable and efficient energy solution.

Our technology philosophy stems from the “Baghdad battery”, an ancient find from Mesopotamia. The innovation we have achieved in this system is the ability to pause and restart energy production many times, using water or other liquids as activators.

The special metals of the power-generating elements inside our products are activated and provide light for over 350 hours of total operation, until they are completely corroded. A development similar to the leap from disposable alkaline batteries to rechargeable ones.

Our flashlights

H2OnlyBattery flashlights give you light anywhere, anytime and for any need. They are activated by water or other safe liquids and provide useful energy for at least 8 hours continuously, with several restart cycles.

CE certified for safety, they contain no toxins or chemicals, making them renewable, recyclable and sustainable. With no expiration, leakage or degradation issues, our technology offers unparalleled reliability.

The company

During extensive research in renewable energy, from 2005 to 2011, our team developed a new type of cell that produces usable energy from water without toxins or chemicals. Our innovative cells can power many different low-consumption devices, for emergencies and for many other sectors.

Since 2016, our company, based in Heraklion, Greece, has manufactured, distributed and sold products under the registered trademark “H2OnlyBattery”, in Greece and in many other countries. Today our production line makes three different flashlight models, each designed for a different purpose.

The target

In many ways, we live in a battery-dependent society, and not only in consumer goods. The growing global demand is largely due to the rapid rise of portable, power-hungry devices such as lighting equipment, mobile phones, video cameras, toys and laptops.

Every year consumers throw away billions of batteries, all containing toxic or corrosive materials. Some contain toxic metals such as cadmium, mercury, lead and lithium, which become hazardous waste and threaten health and the environment when not disposed of properly.

When we are in an emergency, such as a natural disaster with a power cut, batteries remain the most widely used energy source for backup lighting worldwide. However, they can seriously harm the environment and human health.

The solution

We have the solution. With our innovative technology we can support unlimited applications in everyday life. Our products DO NOT need any external charging source, DO NOT need batteries and DO NOT depend on the weather (wind, sun, etc.), as they only need water or any other liquid to work.

H2OnlyBattery technology is environmentally friendly, both in the production process and in the raw materials we use. Our portable energy banks are ready for use in any emergency, even after a long period of storage. In their airtight packaging, our products can be stored for as long as you need before first use.
